Everyone should port to their main rival, UOX, then sure they will relax the rules abit. I really wanna port my 019 number to HYC but they are so strict, sigh.

got myself a HYC sim pack today at megamall kuantan..
dont hv student card, cannot lompat using current number..
bought two simpacks actually, coz 1 for my bro.. he passed 25 already  laugh.gif

one person can only reg 2 maximum.  sweat.gif

btw, the salesperson didn't ask for my student ID, in fact I say I got no student ID.
she said dont worry, still can join, I need to purchase the new simpack only for RM10 (yes, above written Rm8.80) that worth RM10 prepaid inside and register on the spot just using IC, no need fotostat anything.
after online registration, she take out the sim and put it on her mobile phone, dialled some number (i think she is topping up prepaid, cos later i got sms, my number has been succesfully topup with RM6.... Total credit is Rm10)
so basically I got the simpack for free lah since I paid rm10 only, not rm18.80.

Just go for UOX. I am not a fan of Celcom but if you are below 25, you can port your number in.

Yeah, finish it before porting. Prepaid credit easy to finish also unless you are on UOX or HYC, hehe.

(or even better, FREE as everyone might be using Skype and all the telcos should be fighting for cheapest 3G/4G rates)...

Their website doesnt say anything about student id anymore. Still need to be a student to get HYC? I have a Digi line which plan to port to HYC. So first i port to Hotlink Basic Plan, then call CS and ask them to convert to HYC plan?

Yeah true, too much hassle. This wan really for those desperate for cheap calls and sms. Usually those can afford it, just go for postpaid.

Just wondering, is it feasible if they change everyone on normal prepaid to HYC rates, will they actually earn more?

Last time before UOX, i top up every RM10 every 3 months, haha, but now i spend more than RM50 per month.

Yeah, that's why, i use more because cheaper rates and mainly because no expiry date for credit. Wonder if everyone also thinks this way.

True also, the rate for HYC and UOX so low, they are barely making a profit.

Just wondering, let's say i am 24 now. I somehow manage to change to HYC, will it still be 4 years or like UOX expire exactly on 26th birthday?
