hey guys.
my setup. TA790GX 128M and AMD X4 9550 Cool and Quiet Works by setting my multiplier lower to 5.5 from 11 giving it a drop from 2.2GHz to 1.1GHz. However, when it drops to 1.1GHz, the voltage used is still the same as default:- 1.248. By right it should be lowered also right? Anyone facing the same problem? CnQ enabled in bios and AMD processor driver installed. |

but as u see here http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-phenom,1791-2.html, for a similar model (it should be x4 9750) the vcore drops from 1.296 to 1.048 when CnQ is enabled. so im guessing that is not the case.
any other x4 9550 owners can confirm for me? if im not wrong, the default vcore also varies among different mobos/chipsets right? |

955 stock clock is 3.2...200mhz more than 940..just read the review..
Max ram support till 1333mhz speed only..  compare with intel..can go till 1800mhz and beyond... |

i think mobo will not limit the ram highest.. just oc it.. or i'm wrong?

not comparing man...
from review at toms hardware, there is a function in new overdrive tat call BEMP turn it on u overclock ur NB tat unlock the full power of 1333mhz ram...  y they dont on it by default?? tis means tat at default, 1333mhz ram actually running at 1000mhz speed..dunno if its real or not...Any one get a 955 already?? how was it?? |
