*
if u r asking for mobo recommend, almost every1 here will suggest u a AMD chipset 1, coz seem ever1 using it, n easy to sharing any gain or any pain here..

if nVIDIA chipset really tough to help u, coz not too many user here using nVIDIA chipset..
if ur budget is same as a new crossair, RM5xx rite? for DDR2, u can go for msi 790 chiset or even BIOStar TA790GX3(cheaper), ASUS M4A78-E, or top up some to get FXB frm DFI. nod.gif

i suggest that dun ever save a OC profile under OS, coz if u can successful save it, it will load this setting each loading into OS, either take a long time to loading this or direct hang each time u go in OS. so wat u can do is js press apply, dun ever save it...
*this is my advise due to facing similar prob b4, end up gotto format hdd doh.gif

yeah, agrree.. dun aspect too much am2 board to run a am3 chip, am2 board hv a prob on bus system, which at HyperTransport 1.0/1.1 which supported 2000/1600 MT/s which mean support HTlink 1000/800 for k8 chip, unlike am2+/am3 board which using HyperTransport 3.0 come with max 5200 MT/s equal to max 2600MHz for HTlink/NBfreq(NB i not sure included or nt).

that is the main prob for nazseha, which running a 1800MHz chip on a 1000MHz HTlink supported board.. doh.gif

conclude by new board is waiting for u nazseha brows.gif

HTT starting with 200,
so HTT x multi = raw speed

Htt x multi = raw speed
Htt x Htlink multi = HT Link speed

since 7750 is am2+ the Ht shud be able to be higher than 1k rite?

so if u're doing let's say
240 x 13 = 3100

HT Link = 240 x whatever u set in BIOS

there's a spot where u can set it to
600 = x3
800 = x4
1000 = x5

correct me if wrong smile.gif

most likely it still at x9 or 1800 mhz..

230 x 9 = 2070 HT link
