well that is one factor ... the other is from my exp on other boards when wanna flash bios older or newer can be done even using ezflash with no problem...

but on asus once u flash it with new bios it wont go backwards when using normal methods so that's when u need to use the dos mode... and its really a pain in the a** ... sweat.gif

the flashing is easy... but the route to get the rite pendrive to make it bootable is the hard one.... like yesterday i tried almost 10 brands on pendrive and at last only kingston can be bootable ...

as long as amd doesn't change their hsf clip for their new upcoming mobo ccf and xigmatek will be sure usable on it...

like ah_khoo said use afudos.exe but 1st u need to prepare ur pendrive or floppy to be bootable ... refer to the 1st page of this thread and follow the instructions....

if u wanna use pendrive i suggest using kingston brand i've tested a whole lot of them but only kingston works for me...

not yet la still playing with the bios now.... been communicating with some guys in XS for some tips and tricks.... so hopefully can get good results before new nb chip comes out
