1:What is AM3? It using DDR3 or DDR2?
2: M2 and M2+ got any difference? Can M2+ processor run with M2 mobo? Can M2 processor run with M2+ mobo?
3: M3 mobo can run M2+ and M2 processor or not? M3 can run with M2+ and M2 supported mobo?
4: By looking at the back of the processor,how to differenciate M2,M2+ and M3?

Pairing 7750 with 780 chipset works nicely? Not planning to upgrade it for at least 2 years. Will OC this thing

1. AM3 is AMD CPUs with both DDR2 and DDR3 controller.
2. M2 and M2+ got slight diff. For M2+ cpu running on m2 mobo, u need to refer to cpu support list. But all m2 cpu can run on m2+ mobo.
3. A real M3 mobo can't run M2+ cpu. Real M3 mobo means come with DDR3 slots. Since M2+ cpu has DDR2 mem controller only, it wont run on M3 mobo. However, there r a few mobo manufacturers rebranded their mobo as AM3 but only have DDR2 slots (Asus has one i think?).
4. Can tell by CPU model names.

btw.. am2+ got 940 pin while am3 only got 938 pin

1.am3? integrated ddr3+ddr2 memory controller, so both can use, based on what board your board support.
2.m2 n m2+ got minor changes only, all chipset 7 series for m2+ and slightly have higher HTlink support.

for question 2 and 3

Just got a panaflo 92mm fan today and replace it with my CM 120mm 69.69cfm fan for the heatsink.

And the 92mm is awesome.

1.AM3 is a new socket but the "New" for now is not so nice.It uses DDR3.However,you can plug in AM3 Processor on AM2+ mobo but u have to use DDR2.

2.Yes it can be either,vice versa.However,it might be some hardware/features limited,such as HTT..etc

3.Nope,AM2 Processor cannot be use on AM3 Motherboard,but AM3 Processor can be use on AM2 Motherboard

4.AM2 and AM2+ has no different i think,but on AM3 there is,there is 1 pin lost on the processor pin(IINM)

Guys..i seriously need an X4..Does Phenom X4 9150e good?Since its around 300 only - -

Mostly around RM230-RM250 deal.

But clock speed 1.8GHz, it depends on your usage on what application you use.

Multi threading is your need then I think it's a good deal.

If clock speed is a matter like in gaming then I think it's not a good deal.

Just my thought.

it's up to u my lil bro..
it's 65w, i don't think it give ur board a problem..
but it's more toward on memory and core..
so, go get it ler if u need it badly for rendering..
but keep ya current proc, in case for gaming, i dont think it can catch up ..

worth a try if ya board has sb750 (acc), coz acc prove to breath a new life into some b3 chips. w/o acc, they just won't fly as high.

couple w/ some luck, u'll have yaself a 2.4~2.6GHz quaddy w/ low wattage.
