Graphics so so, music rather boring, concept is simple, story is meh, very sad background, BUT very unique art style, music fits in perfectly fine, simple concept, not too story driven, mature background, precise control, very challenging (something you can't find in today's games anymore) and to acquire every trophy requires replays, which is perfectly fine for this game for its challenge.

The thing is...it's the same ppl in kopitiam that's been trying to liven up the other seemingly dead threads.

If they only remember how lively the forum was back in the day...that just means back then Wii was really the hype and the touch screen and some gameplay are new to us...reality today, the hype died down. No thanks no lesser games to talk about.

should be illegal but unlike games where we can get it asap they are released,we cant do the same thing wif tv programs as they are usually be aired in certain countries and only make way to other countries after some time. sometimes it is hard for us,the fans of certain series to wait and hence we would wanna dl it asap as it is aired in the origin country.

But i am not interested in dling shows la, not that it is illegal or what,it is simply because the line sucks in malaysia and god knows how long will it take to get even an episode.

I have the same excuse as biddy. tongue.gif the line is the only reason that prevents me from getting shows downloaded.

And I believe there are many copies of stand up comedians lying around malaysia. so, that's another bummer for me. sigh.

Alah, I am sloepoek for kyo's question.

For me, TV shows are definitely a grey area. Would I pay for a cable/satellite service that ensures me I get the latest shows I like (The Unit, Hell's Kitchen, Mentalist, Eleventh Hour)?

aBSOFREEAKINLUTELY.

However this is simple impossible due to random licensing issues (read they want more money), and the fact that Malaysian broadcasters will only buy those shows that will definitely get ADvertisers buying air time (CSI, Despo Housewives).

I am still downloading TV shows, and TV shows only. I subscribe to one of the services on LYN that allow me to get faster speeds, because Malaysian TV and satellite services, SUCK.

My 2 cents. The government (again) is actually promoting us to get the shows we want on alternative route. How? 5-10 mins delay on Live telecast doh.gif Censor almost everything in a 18SX/SL show, and yet the U shows are even worse doh.gif Music videos also need to censor doh.gif And pay cable TVs to get outdated shows doh.gif

Well not everyone (according to the game XD) look at the point of being chosen by the Valkyrie to be a blessing, some regard her as the God of Death, so in a way having a God of Death taking away your father's soul and your sister dying soon after with a mother blaming the Valkyrie's role in it when you are only 10 and incapable of better judgement, it's not hard to understand him growing up with such loathing. Thanks to Hel for fueling it as well.

With all the VP talks, I wonder how many of you actually read the Norse Mythology? I read 2 before, and still loss.. too many people in there. But they are quite interesting nonetheless smile.gif

why: My wife wanted me to turn on the Wii more often, so she bought the Wii version smile.gif Needless to say, I agree with her also because buying DLC is much easier on the wii compared to the PS3.

Why, I wanted the full RB2 full band version. Lordie punya is GHWT with the game. I don't mind really getting the Wii version, as long as its RB2 and its with the steel pedal. sad.gif

Djinn told me RB2 bundle is almost nonexistent in Malaysia (the wii version). Noone wants to bring it in.

that's why. I have no problem buying the Wii version if I could. And, I think i'd be mad this year, if I decided to buy a RB2 set and a GHWT set for each of the console. ngee... but i'd buy a GHWT guitar bundle soon.

Alah kyo, buy the GHWT bundle and then the RB2 game only lah. RB2 kit not compatible with GHWT, and GHWT DOES have its moments, even tho I'm loving RB2.

Gitar GHWT bundle sedap dipegang, and on the Wii it's teh awesomez that the wiimote powers it and adds all the nice features. Whammy bar is also sedap.

Drums are nice and solid, altho the cymbals look like they wont take TOO much punishment smile.gif

Wah kyo OKK. One RB2 for PS3 and GHWT for WII?

WHY? Not to mention the space constraints. PS3 is an awesome machine, but difficulty in getting DLC is really bothering me, unless you plan on getting a US Visa card or sharing every time a DLC comes out.

I remember getting fooled by IGN's Smash Bros Brawl Hardcore, the bloody version of the game. But the service implementation is what I want.

If WiiExpand is true, I think it'd be great to implement new updates or even characters and get them into the SD card. Its much like the RB2 SD card implementation, but this would allow games to open up a little bit and give more creative uses of the application. One can dream though.

I just hope that Nintendo will do DLC for Zelda Twilight Princess,
much like what Fallout 3 & GTA do with their PS3/360 DLC.

Give us new mission, new area, new dungeons, new puzzles..... package them nicely into a WiiWare DLC,

i heard one should just stick to one version of TP.... if u are too used to one version, u might get nausea playing the other because of the flipped worlds. rclxub.gif

i'm sticking with the NGC version too, i prefer classic controls.

Zelda Spirit Track is months from release...
To cure my Zelda itch i only have Wii Twilight Princess as medicine sad.gif

Also, Nintendo don't do DLC for their games,
if they did it for Zelda i will buy all of them. smile.gif

according to kotaku, last year was the only year without a new zelda game out so i doubt there's a shortage of zelda games as it is.

i haven't played crossbow but i find the zapper to be a waste of money, it doesn't work well at all with UC and since trying the perfectshot there's no turning back.

here's hoping wii motionplus would be better and not just another useless peripheral from nintendo.

I wouldn't pay anything beyond $50 unshipped for Shining Wisdom honestly, so it took me a while to find a copy for $35 which is being shipped to me at the moment. Japanese copies only cost a few bucks though, but it didn't get Working Design's treatment.

I am a bit worried of this tendency for nenten to milk their faithful. It'll work a couple of times, but eventually people will tire of this.

Just make sure the motionplus doesn't create a divide between wii owners - if that happens then i'm buying sony stock.

I budget RM1000+ for the game and stick, but shipping is like RM200 sweat.gif The stick is the one with touch pad, made from real arcade parts.

If you want Cotton you are still missing Cotton Original and Cotton Boomerang. Then you have the 3 Parodius games for SS/PS missing as well. If you want a more fast paced adult themed one there's Sengoku Blade for Saturn/PS2. If you have PC Engine CD then you can't miss Lords of Thunder, or settle for Mega CD version.
