Does it play like older VP? I miss those combos

Much harder. But the new battle system is not so fun anymore with some new system tweak in.

And sad... you now need to purchase spells and tactics with OTH T^T

I'll play the PS1 first lah while wait for NDS one drop in price. Haven't really put in time on that before But yeah, can't pull off combo like it did since only got 2 buttons. Is Suikoden better or VP better in your opinion?

Can't compare I suppose, both gameplay also differ quite a lot. I enjoyed playing Suikoden more though, maybe because it doesn't break my brain too much. VP is a tad too gloomy this time around and a lot of tactical stuff to consider.

The first VP I haven't played, loved Silmeria though

Have to choose between VP and Suiko.. I loved Norse themed games, but then I wish to try Suiko as well..

tri-ace announced new game for 360 and PS3, hope it would be VP3. Then can get the cheap cheap 360 version to play

Nah, I think he's too laid back to be a King of Gods. XD Imagine him sleeping on his job, Freya is going to be pissed.

But seeing how VP Silmeria preceeds VP1, events in VP1 would be different already? I don't know..
