OK this thread might sound similar to "defectivelasagna" thread. An hour ago i cannot make any call or send sms but receiving both call and sms is fine. is there anyone out there suffering the same thing like me. it was fine this morning untill an hour ago starting to act funny. could it because of Maxis connection or is it the iPhone problem?

u change other sim card to ur iphone try and see, or put ur current sim card to other phone try try

change new simcard....
my lil bro had that similar prob before!

argh the problem still persist. so i need to go to maxis and request a replacement sim card then?

i did try to switch back to my other phone still cannot make any calls or receive any sms.

Added on March 31, 2009, 9:56 pmok i made two phone calls to maxis cust. service :

First call i made the guy mentioned to me that i need to select the network manually, previously i used automatic network search. i did all that and the problem still persist.

Second call i made the guy mentioned there is a nationwide problem with maxis network currently especially for those who just topped up their line today. i did top up today and hoping tomorrow morning i can have the call functions and sms functions normally.

is there any iPhone & hotlink users in here having the same problem as me?

i don't think it's iPhone problem cause i can call out with my friend's sim card.
gonna call the customer care later

my girlfriend and I got the same problem too. I got the simcard on same day, different only 1 number, and got the problem same timeline as Mr.PostMan, but with different phones. maxis sux?
I can make 3G internet connection just fine.
I just topup yesterday and my girlfriend 3 days ago.

well as of 12pm today i finally could resume to make calls and sms,problem solved by maxis but i dunno when this could happened again. hopefully not though.

well i often have a similiar prolem, is that, i am able to receive all the msg from my girl friend, but sometimes she cant receive msges i sent out, my phone shows it has been sent, but she cant receive it =\ but my side is fine, i got no prob receiving though, we are both maxis =(
