I tested acer 6935g model at a compter shop and it was on the whole day.. from what i see because they set the laptop as display model. So i feel around the palm rest area got abit heat.

The heat is not that hot.. its not on a game anyway.. just idle..

sxps users comment at dell site many complaint the heat extremely hot

btw..... i think still cold after 3 hours is abit unrealistic, its a dedicated gc man.... sure get abit warm de.....

really interesting, both of these laptop really so good? mind to share some review/experience?
i used a few dell's lappy before n its kinda hot(currently using m1530)
acer is famous with bad qc, but they're catching up already?

btw, i dun believe the Acer being cold, unless you duno where to feel.... cause i've used my frend's 6935 before, and seriously, which dedicated gc in lappy dun heat up abit? dell can't say for sure, but actually more accurate to check core temp no? cause the heat this thing.... if ur surface non-conductive, then less heat reaches the hand, but if like its metal casing, then sure can feel the heat lur....

would it be very hot for normal usage?

how much for a new HP HDX16T?

just got my 6935g.. i can say the heat cant really be felt.. when using HW monitor to check temps reach bout 50+ degrees doesnt exceed 60degrees.. i played crysis.. by the way.. no cooler n non air conditioned..
