My Sharp CRT TV... soon to be given to my mother...



Just to share some un-boxing pictures... Pana 42X10K delivered every morning fresh from htkaki



Immediately opened the box to bask in all its HD goodness.... aaahhhhh SWEET!





So what's in the box...

1) 42X10K
2) Remote Control
3) Manuals and Warranty Card
4) Power Cord
4) TV Stand + metal brackets + screws
5) Microfiber cleaning cloth



Putting the TV stand together was simple enough...



Next comes mounting the plasma to its stand... (It’s a 2 man job but 3 is better)
Being impatient I tried to do it alone but quit halfway scared I'll drop the TV.

Waited until evening for mom and sis to finish work and come help me...



The hard work done it's time to remove the protective tape on all the shiny bits of the TV.
The finish and gloss is awesome



The best part is to sit back and enjoy

Opened the curtains to get more light in for the camera... there is a large 5 panel bay window to the right...

I think I have a night picture... will post it as soon as I copy from the mem stick.

As promised some more pictures... under different lighting conditions...

Day time my curtains drawn... I have double curtains I only closed the sheer and daylight is still coming in:-

Actually my next target is a PS3 around July 25 then a receiver/amp next.

I have a set of JBL and Sherwood speakers my Uncle gave me and I'm hoping to hook those up first... you can see in the pictures I posted, with the CD's rack on top.

When it's time to get the receiver/amp I'll probably need pairing advice... like what's the voltage, resistence etc I should get.
