One thing I don't understand is that why the native resolution is 1024 x 768, 4:3!? Ain't it 16:9 widescreen as what we see?

Hi guys, I just bought a P42X10K for RM 2999 FOC LS85 digital camera, memory card, and a HDMI cable. Truely impressive black level, and image quality is nice too.
One thing I don't understand is that why the native resolution is 1024 x 768, 4:3!? Ain't it 16:9 widescreen as what we see? |
