I'll be moving into my condo soon. It's a 2nd hand unit... I wanna hear some advice from experience people. Please help to answer the following questions Thanks!

1. LCD TV or Plasma TV?
2. What brand and where to get a good buy?
3. The distance between sofa and wall for me to hang the TV is about 3.5 meters. How big should the screen be?
4. How much horse power should I get for the living room, which is 3.5 meters by 7 meters? 1.5? 2.0?
5. What brand and where to get a good buy?
6. Does anyone use a dryer? I dislike hanging and ironing clothes
7. The unit already has plaster ceiling. Can I "make" more holes for more lights?

plasma TVs are dead (they're no more producing anymore)

Plasma is not dead - far from it. In fact, seeing astro on it is much better than LCD.
