For those who would be making further accusations about GT.. well, they have had their prob before and honestly.. which toy shops never had bad press b4 anyhow.. hahah i could simply close my eyes n name a few without any problem.. But i believe that most collectors r only interested in 1 thing and that's CHEAP or rather REASONABLY AFFORDABLE PRICES hehehe...

Anyhow, i was expecting the price for MP08 to be super awesome because 10 days before it was released, the boss sms me and ask me if i was interested n said that it will indeed be the "Cheapest in Town" hehehhe.. and when it came in a few days ago... they finally sms me their awesome price at 329 hehehe and it sold out in a matter of hours.. LOL..

Price wars among shops is pretty common ler... hope GT will continue to give us awesome prices in the future heheh... Let the PRICE WARS begin!!!

Trash talking among retailers r pretty common.. been hearing em for the past 10 yrs of my collecting life hahah.. but making it black n white in a forum might just be a tad bit little too incriminating hehehe...

Not surprise to hear these kinds of stuff la.. a few yrs back GT brought in uber cheap 12" Star Wars Storm Troopers n sell em really cheap and there was also the little boy who cried "FAKE" as well.. every time a certain shop brings in stuff n sell em cheaper than the other.. the "F" bomb is sure fired LOL... very typical respond n attack.. not only common to retailers.. but also among collectors, the first instinct is to tagged the unbelievably cheap priced figure as a fake.. Then ofcoz we have the loyal customers of shops who will also join in the fray. But retailers don't have to worry so much la.. unlikely that 1 shop can supply to the needs of the whole of KL. Eventually they will sold out n other shops can have their chance lor heheheh...

Agreed.. heeh stick to the shops that u have been dealing with for a long time.. with the rapport n trust u guys have forged over the yrs.. chances of a retailer screwing u with a defected toy is almost nil. Whenever any defects is found in any toys i buy from the retailers i deal with ..i am always given a new non defect item in exchange... run around looking for the cheapest only and the retailers feel they don't have to give u any priority and vice versa

Those who know and dealt with GT b4 and know em personally won't even give such an accusation a thought and honestly.. GT couldn't care less with such accusations at all hehehe, they've heard so much of such accusations b4.. if they would waste their times with police reports n law suits over such unfounded slander.. they wouldn't have time to source out uber cheap stuff for us to buy!! LOL

Besides.. if figures are sold cheaper than other shops are considered FAKE.. then i guess the ones selling a heck lot more EXPENSIVE must be truly awesome authentic figures then.. since they r so much more expensive Hehehe

Price differences r caused by many factors la.. If u r a big shop n order in bulk and also deals with supplying stocks elsewhere as a supplier..in general, the more u buy.. the cheaper u get ur stocks.. so GT selling at 329 is definitely believable.. bcoz most items we buy at retail.. the cost price is at least 20-30% cheaper.. shops also have to survive la.. rental n over head.. collectors have to take this into account as well instead of just thinking of themselves hehehe
