Check out the garage sale forum and you should find SoundMAGIC dealer there. If you prefer to go online, MP4Nation.net, FocalPrice.com and Popbuying.com are fairly reliable SM dealer too.

time to bring this thread back up

jz got my mp-21 2day,its my 1st soundmagic iem.been using ep-630 b4 this

1st impression the box is smaller than i thought, from wat i've seen in pics. The accessories included in the package is good enough for its price range. The earbuds alone have 6 pairs blink.gif ,S,M,L sizes,in 2 diff colours. Also included is a pouch,a cable for connecting to ur pc and using the mic,and also a pair of ear hooks.

Sound quality is vry good for its price.if u like bassy headphones, this is what u've looking for.the button on the mic work flawlessly as well, the operation is same as my stock apple headphones.i compared the sound quality with the stock apple headphones,mp21 is more towards bass, while the stock is more towards clarity.

In conclusion its a vry good upgrade from the original headphones if u are looking for more bass, and its cheap as well.i blif there's no other headphones with mic out there compatible with the iphone and is selling for jz rm100

several gripes as well, sound isolation isn't that good compared to my ep-630,maybe its due to the thinner material of the silicon ear buds.the foam ear buds provide better isolation but i dun like the feel of it.i have a hard time adjusting the headphones to my ear as well bcoz of its slightly "crooked" design at the tip, need some time getting used to it

Are you referring to the PL-50?  I'm thinking of getting this as well but i'm worried about the lack of bass which a lot of people kept saying and also said that this PL-50 is more towards vocal.

So, how punchy is the bass?
*
As opposed to many reviews, I find PL50's bass very strong yet solid. It does matter which bud you use; the standard foam works best for me.

I've gotten my PL-50 since September last year. After some seasoned usage, the PL50 really shines. It has quality bass and vocal, exactly what I needed. The resolution of PL50 is very high in the way that the source plays an important role.

Addon: I can get the best bass quality by pairing with my computer's X-Fi Titanium sound card. PMP like Zune and iPod nano did not power up like how the sound card did. Perhaps you may want to amp your PMP output if you want better bass.

just got my hands on PL30 to replace my missing PL20.
my mindset: probably not much of a difference, maybe PL30 is expensive because it comes with ear hook and carrying case.

but then, once i tested it, what i am hearing is better clarity sound eventhough it is not burned yet thumbup.gif
the bass is not so deep, but controllable, listenable and noticeable, and i dun like bass much, so i just leave it as it is smile.gif

1 negative feedback though: not too comfort!!

The isolation of PL50 is too good until I cannot listen to my surroundings. Had to sell it off and will get an open headphone instead.
