U mean now ur windscreen has some chips on it and u thought to buy insurance for it and wait it break or u break it yourself to claim warranty?

Why dont just go and repair it? Many shops now offering windscreen repair for a minimal fee..
cheaper than buying insurance obviously since u gonna lose your NCB to claim it.

i think almost all companies do provide.

my experience:

1) axa affin - u can include it into the windscreen coverage

2) oriental capital - u can insure it under accessories

the rest u need to call and ask.

maybe i'm not clear with the term 'windscreen coverage'. of coz u need to pay 15% of the sum insured for the windscreen coverage. say ur sum insured for the windscreen is 1k, then u need to pay rm150 as the premium.

I don't think the tint is covered.
There was a crack on my windscreen which is covered by MAA insurance and they wouldn't let me claim the tint on my windscreen either. JUST the windscreen.

Yup, it did cover tinted depend what premium u purchase and how much u pay for ....... I used to do that when there is some scratch on my tinted( not my glass, hello Vcool not cheap leh) ....

Yes it does effect ur NCB if ur car is claim for Accident but with premium purchase, it won't effect NCB at all ....

Basically u can insure ur car windscreen, accessory and bla, as long you willing to pay .....

Haiya.. Windscreen covered by your auto insurance. Tint is covered IF the tint company covered it. It is separate from auto insurance. I know since they include it in the package when I tint my car.

..and I don't know why the hell I bumped a two years old post.
