Hey guys. So far I know VirtualBox is the only free software that allows you to have 2 OS in one pc/laptop right?

My question is does it only run one OS at a time or both?

I recently heard that window 7 is performing really well.
I am interested in upgrading my window xp which is run on boot camp on my Macbook 13", 2.4 Ghz intel core 2 duo, 4 GB ram.

just want to compare the performance between window xp and window 7 on this system.
will it perform much better? or will it consume too much resource and slow down the system?

ur valuable advice is kindly appreciated.
thanks
