maybe partition problem, but only for the windows one. can u boot into OSX?

actually its not off topic issue...i wanted to suggest u to install using .iso as well

no need to download anything, juz launch Disk Utility. put in the XP CD, go to File > New > Disk Image from (the XP cd). save it somewhere. then open parallels and direct it to install from the ISO u created
