Very fair statement there cschong. Well hv to agree. Although LCCT has been upgraded & expanded and no more facing sardine pack as last month or b4, However the 1st impression my foreigners on LCCT..is pretty bad...more like a cargo warehouse terminal rather than proper airport.
Anyway, for poor folks, no choice hv to pay peanut to use the 3rd world terminal, otherwise we cannot travel oversea so often! Haha

Even wth min 2hrs from KL Sentral, the train will take ~30min to KLIA & wth 1.5hrs to go b4 flying...It's just right on time for boarding...
Maximum?? hmnnn not sure what you mean by it? normally check-in counter (At KLIA & not Sentral) open ~ 2.5-3hrs b4 departure. You can even reach the airport hours or even a day before..thus no maximum timing..so infinity kua..haha but the check-in counter will only opened ~ 2-3hrs b4.
If you mean the latest..I suggest do not try your luck. I experienced almost missing my flight & hv to plead to the officer to let me in (Check -in 1/2 b4 departure!!) Do not try man..dangerous..

BTW, MAS has just increased their check-in luggage weight by additional 10Kg.. so why wanna bring so many hand carry luggages.. Throw most of your things via check-in-lah dun waste such a precious free benefit that you can't enjoy if flying on budget airlienes

QUOTE(winifred86 @ May 3 2013, 03:00 AM) anyone know that MAS will have promotion air ticket to Osaka on this year September with budget below rm1000? as last few days I checked, go and return trip only rm800, but I was late, now it returned to normal price.... Wait yntil Air Asia promotion, they normally will follow closely vice versa. Otherwise, check with the marketing arm of MAS if there is any

QUOTE(froogler @ Aug 22 2013, 09:32 PM) Hello all, I am currently planning a trip on Malaysian airlines and noticed that the tickets being offered are 'non-refundable'. Now I googled up some info about this and came to know that there are two kinds of 'non-refundable' tickets - one, where you lose all your money in case you cancel the trip. In the second case, your money is not returned, but held with the airline for a 12 month period when you can use it to book an alternate trip. I have been unable to reach out to the MA support desk here in my country. So could someone who knows this let me know how it works on Malaysian airlines? The deal is pretty good at the moment and I would like to book the ticket if I hear back from someone. Thread merged.

QUOTE(skincladalien @ Apr 25 2014, 04:11 PM) Hi, I booked a flight on MAS and before the flight due to some event I will not be able to board the flight, I remember last time saw somewhere that the airport tax is refundable? (attached pic) However when i called the MAS hotline the operator say that promo fare everything is not refundable? Can pro enlighten me? Thanks thread merged. Airport tax is refundable. Well that's Air Asia policy & I have claimed back twice b4 & no problem. So should be the same with MAS. If they reluctant to refund, you probably lodge a complain or read their term & Condition
