i think u just have to make sure ur uncle bring along his credit card while he claim his ticket in ticket counter for verification and make sure a passport sized of his photos is present,dont be so worry bout it coz he paid it and his database are reachable by MAS ticketing

I did a quick scan of the replies and didn't see your question directly answered (I may have missed it, if so then nvm), so here's my answer:

They don't want photo, they ask for photo ID which means any form of official identification document with the passenger's photograph on it. Such as NRIC, Passport, or Driver's Licence.
