I have a simple notepad app here called LittlePad http://sites.google.com/site/chenkuangyap/There's a new version being reviewed by apple so see how it goes... I designed and programmed it myself but the code is a bit messy due to inexperience. If anyone likes my work and wants to collaborate on my next project: LittleWeb a web browser with a killer interface, please drop me a mail. -yap

I got the sdk for free. but the apps will only run on a simulator not the actual iphone/ipod. If you pay the 99 USD/year you can install them and sell as many of them as you like, give your apps to friends etc and of course use them on your own iphone too. If you don't have an apple ID you must create one using an iTunes account mmm i think so - the one you use to buy apps on the app store. I think you need a credit card. -yap QUOTE(joshting @ Sep 30 2010, 04:53 PM) Hi, developers. Have a question here. For those who are interested iPhone/iPad development and wanted to have a try, do we still have to fork out USD99 just to be able to download the SDK. I went over to Apple's developers site and could not find a way to just download it without an Apple ID. Is this true? However, I read somewhere that there is a free version that only allows to be ran on an emulator (and of course cannot sell on app store). Does this still apply with iOS SDK 4.1? Need some guidance here, iPhone/iPad developer wannabe
