thanks for the info. I was wondering if anyone had experience registering as a company. do you need to be sdn bhd or sole proprietor is sufficient?
*
I hv registered using Sdn Bhd, you need to fax in some documents before they approve the account. I guess sole proprietor should be the same.

*
It is free register if you want to download the development tools (XCode) from Apple. Currently can get iPhone SDK 3.2 for free account.
http://developer.apple.com/iphone/

Only when you want to distribute your apps through App Store, you only need to pay the USD99/yr for the account. You can get download the beta SDK with this account also. Latest is iPhone SDK 4 beta.

We have already submitted the game to Apple App Store & waiting for approval.

We are having a little campaign giving out promo code of the game before showing in App Store.

We will be giving out promo code for anyone who can spot where is the difference of the 2 images. You just need to answer in the Facebook thread itself & we will send you the promo code.

Where is the difference in this images?

To all developers in the forum, from your own personal experience, were you able to regain the $99 you invested into the program? and how soon were u able to do that?

I am a student here and am considering whether this $99 is money well spent.

nothing special inside the $99. you need to pay just to sell your app on the store.
register as free member & learn first. upgrade when you need.

Hi guys, got a few questions here:

Anyway to develop apps on a Windows based PC?
What do I need to develop applications?
How much do I have to pay?
*
If u want to develop in Windows PC better u develop for Windows Mobile or WinCE application, also got a huge market for this. And if u still insist to develop other than XCode and Objective-C in Mac OS X, u can try using MonoTouch using MonoDevelop IDE and C# .NET http://monotouch.net/

Hello guys. I've created a new iphone app to download ringtone that I want to share with you guys.

Itunes link: m9 ringtone.

QUOTE
m9 ringtone offers over 1,000 FREE remixed, funny, sound effects, sayings and more ringtones for your iPhone. It's the only ringtone app you'll ever need. Using the app, listen & select the ringtones you want, have them sent to your e-mail, save them to your computer and then open them with iTunes. It's that easy.

Please try it, and let me know what you guys think!

I'll write up a guide on how to create and share your iphone ringtones if you guys are interested also. :s12:

boonboon, you registered as Sdn Bhd? Wow man... that is pretty expensive to be in.
Why not Enterprise instead?

I am still running solo though. Prefer to be under the radar if you catch my drift.

Hi Guys/Girls,

Wow, so exciting that there's a forum on LYN for IPhone developers! Found lot of information about IPhone development here and hope to see this thread keep on active and growing.

I have created an app (a mobile app to be exact) for location sharing, integrated with my facebook apps. If you are free, give it a try at http://www.locatememap.com/mobilemap/. Any of your suggestion is most welcome.

ps: App in facebook is http://apps.facebook.com/locatememap

Thanks!
