she managed to do her work much faster now biggrin.gif using pen more natural to draw ma. she has to trace lots of pictures perfectly...using mouse too slow to do this.
maybe 1st 2/3 weeks quite hard for u to get use to it. but maybe after 1 month, go use a PC n u'll wonder why the hell is it so complicated tongue.gif
*
oo.. i find it hard to move around a 24inch LCD with a 4x6 inch tablet.. how nice if the tablet is multitouch also tongue.gif can pinch and etc tongue.gif

You cant resize it according to your monitor?

Added on April 21, 2010, 11:32 amLike maybe the scale or some sort?
*
the tablet is 4 x 6 inch.. how u resize also is 4 x 6 inch tongue.gif but u can assign to use the tablet only on certain part of the screen if not mistaken..

QUOTE(jacklooi @ Apr 21 2010, 11:23 PM)
MBP 15" hav i7 but MBP 17" doesn't hav..
but if u wan 17" with i7 u need to upgrade with additional RM653
anf of coz.. 17" resolution is much better than 15"
but u must think about the weight..
for normally use for travel 15" shld b better..
17" hm...... quite heavy @@
*
can upgrade..

QUOTE(KKW @ Apr 21 2010, 11:26 PM)
Yea. that's the reason I have no budget for buying macbook biggrin.gif
Hmm.. I dont think weight is a problem to me.
the weight of 17" almost 3kg right?
*
go for 17inch then smile.gif

QUOTE(tarvalslain87 @ Apr 21 2010, 11:35 PM)
Maybe you can go to the apple retailers shop there and get a feel and look at the real thing before deciding either 15" or 17" that way you can make better judgement =D

Since weight is not a problem then go ahead for 17" and upgrade it to core i7... You will love the screen =D
*
thumbup.gif correct..

btw, does mac support windows 64bit?
*
i dunno can or not.. i read somewhere that if install tru parallel.. then 64 bit cannot.. i dunno true or not.. wait for ppl to clarify..

QUOTE(tarvalslain87 @ Apr 22 2010, 10:48 AM)
If im not mistaken yea.. they do support windows 64bit.. Im planning to do a dual boot with my windows 7 64 bit OS =D

RAM upgrades are very expensive... So if you dont think you will utilize it all, dont upgrade them =D
*
after u try.. pls let me know.. if not mistaken.. bootcamp can support 64 bit.. but parallel i think cannot..

yea.. RAM expensive.. but if upgrade by our self then cheaper..

Guys,

i have a question...

MBP 15" or iMac 27" ?

The price is almost the same yet portability would be a plus for me and but it's freakin 27" vs 15" .. how? lol
*
for me.. i cant even think of carrying an iMac 27inch and walk around the mall.. then stop by at starbucks and find a plug to sit there and do my work... tongue.gif tongue.gif
