urm i think your question is too general. why do you want to buy the mac for? for work purposes or just cos its 'stylish'? mac os do offer alot of softwares that windows platform do. so do consider that before posting such a question bro.

if i were you, i would get a macbook pro that would go perfectly with your external monitor. that wud give you the portability option. and if you have extra budget, get the external keyboard and mouse.
but with that being said, a mbp is quite out of budget compared to a mac mini or 21' imac. |
