This is what I saw from website , and also quoted by the website : " Oh, and that gloss-plastic that scratches so easily up top? Yeah, it's just as wimpy on the sides -- we've maybe plugged one or two things into this USB port and it's already dented up. In fact, the more we used the MacBook, the more disheveled it got -- the unibody build might make it stronger internally, but on the outside it's soft white plastic, and it shows right away. " Is it a serious problem ?

QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Jan 3 2010, 10:53 PM) no you cannot upgrade the graphic card yourself. it doesnt use graphic 'cards' in the 1st place, juz the chips. 500GB vs 1TB hard drive only u can decide. 21" or 27" also u decide obviously the bigger the better, but it's a question of money for the 21", just ask urself if u want/need the Radeon. what do you expect to do with the iMac? for most tasks the 9400M is already pretty good (most of the time i juz use the 9400M ). u'll juz need the Radeon for gaming and serious 3D stuff. having said that, i'm not sure if the Radeons will work with OpenCL :S but this doesnt matter today Hi , I'd like to confirm , the 9400M is shared RAM with the main memory ? And the ATi Radeon is dedicated RAM ? ( both on latest iMac 21.5" ) Thank you .

Hi , I'm new to Mac , one stupid question here . The current Mac OSX includes iPhoto 09 , iMovie09 , iWeb09 and etc , let say if the 2010 version comes out in future , is it possible to direct upgrade from 09 to 2010 version ? Or have to buy the latest full version to install as currently I can't find any upgrade version of iLife 09?

I have a question here . My friend is eligible for education discount since she is working as a lecturer in a local private college , but her credit card limit is low . Can she use my credit card to purchase through Apple online store with education price ? Or can I purchase on behalf of her ? Thanks ....

QUOTE(PeeEl @ Jun 4 2010, 07:19 PM) Let me venture a reply. Using your credit card for her purchase shouldn't be a problem but you buying on her behalf will probably be a no unless you yourself qualify for the education discount. QUOTE(frega @ Jun 4 2010, 09:19 PM) meaning, buy under her name / shipping address / etc, but with your credit card. Thanks for your information .....
