This is a myth. MacOSX has virus just like every other OS. It just that hackers tends to target the biggest group, which is the Windows platform. In fact, i read some test and review done not too long ago, VISTA is actually more secured than Mac OSX.It's better for multimedia actually. But frankly PC is more bang for buck by far.

And frankly, this 'better for multimedia' isn't true either. But MAC OSX does have the best presentation and clean interface. I enjoyed my Hackintosh...lol.
