27/03/09 4.00am a kind of thief like orang minyak (naked man) break in to my house and stole my laptop Mac book Black color & my iphone 16GB generation
is it possible to track back the MAC BOOK black color ?? if anyone can help please let me know. My Mac Book is actually set password issit possible they can break the password or they have to send back to apple store ?? if anyone know about it please do let me know ... million thanks.

Sry to hear this boss. I don't think there's a way you can trace it unless you install some kind of programme that's sold by one company in M'sia(forgot the name of the programme ady) Still that programme will be gone if the thief reformat ur MacBook.

So sorry to hear this. For other Mac users, you might want to take a look at Orbicule Undercover. Good software but it's not free sad.gif

Haha, this is the software i'm talking about notworthy.gif But you can only trace it if the thief use ur MacBook to on9. If he reformats then the software is gone as well.

Where did you set the password? If it is on your login ID, they can easily reinstall .. but if you've set the password in Open Firmware, then, the guy will have hard time tho' it is not impossible with the trick found on the net.

You're one hell of a lucky man to be able to retrieve it. Seldom heard of ppl able to get it back. The thief happens to be ur fren and he didn't sell it but instead using it? xD
