I just bought my X1 not even for a month and they announced X2... but nvm, I still prefer the design of X1, albeit the X2 has a better looking keypad, and it comes with arrow keys too. Sometimes it's really inconvinient to type without the arrow keys..

You're comparing 2 different league of devices. In terms of UI design, MAYBE the iphone does win in certain aspects, but in terms of functionality & platform stability, the X1 wins anytime.

I wanted to ask this for quite some time but I keep forgetting.. When the phone is fully chraged, the indicator light still blinks right? Unless I on the phone and check the battery status, I've no way of knowing that it's fully charged.. Anybody face the same thing as me?

Just press the power button on top of the phone and it'll go into sleep mode.


I just found out that over the night my battery drained from 100% to 64%, no idea what happened, as far as I remember there is no data connection before I slept.. never happened to me before.. so weird..

Once the headset is paired with your phone, it should be able to auto detect.

Nope, there should be no difference. Maybe that set would have some vodafone logo branding on it. You can always debrand the rom and flash one to your own liking later on.

Manila 2.5 is still kinda unstable now, perhaps you should wait a little while more.. Good luck & have fun trying!

I would suggest that you go for the original set as far as I'm concern thorus is doing a 2 yrs warranty promotion now, I bought my in early august. Flashing with a custom rom will only void the warranty temporarily, u can always flash it back and undo the hard-spl.

It's all marketing gimmicks.. btw i like the X2 keyboard as it has the arrow keys, other than that, I do like the screen, unlike the recessed X1. Other than that, I still prefer my X1 anytime.


Valkyrie Leo-Horizon v3.3 is out ady. Anybody tried it yet?

That's what I read too. I'm using a silver set, everything's fine till now. I think the newer batches of X1 doesn't has this problem.

I'm on 3.1 also but after some minor usage it'll shoot up to 50-60% range.. It won't stay around 40% for long.. Unless I perform another soft reset.
