As far as i know, flashing rom without hardspl wont brick your phone, just it wont be able to flash. Anyway, havent tried flashing without hardspl (custom rom ofcourse). Always hardspl 1st.

ahha.. i dont hav such problem...

Touch-IT v5.04 resource hogging is a good way to go.. why we put so much free ram into a slow device.. why dont u load everything in da start, then use up da ram, but get a faster device?

Touch-IT v5.04, doesnt load everything on start.. but as soon as u launch da opera browser, it will keep it in ram.. so that, next time, u start it.. it is instantly shown. while, afta u go to Music/Photo tab.. HTC album/HTC audio manager will launch, and load it into our ram.. n tat da reason why.. i still recommend to use 3rd party photo viewer and music player..

overall, i like it to resource hogging...

besides, when typing quite fast.. i got no problem with space b4.. or, i doesnt realize.. next time i post here via my xperia.. see u all can check out my typo of space o not a.. i didnt realized xperia got so much problem to u all.. haha..

bro,

da voice commander u mention is microsoft voice commander o cyberon 1? i want o try too eventhough i tried b4.

besides, jack rom got a software caled ae btton plus which mean u can port 2 clickof left key to activate voice command. which i think is better.

i tried GPS on Samsung omnia, Touch Pro, Touch HD, n of caz XPERIA... what i can say is omnia need more than 2 mins to get fix. touch HD/pro nid less than a minute to get fix.. but XPERIA less than 20secs can get fix.. it real, if u got QuickGPS downloaded... im not sure whether my touch pro/HD got problem.. but i cant really get them fix easily as my XPERIA do..

im using Garmin Mobile XT with malfreemaps while mapking 2007 with malsingmaps september.

I like mapking more, but garmin got newest map.. so take both.. garmin a bit laggy.. mapking smooth and sensitive (i set my self to more sensitive at settings page)

GPS is always FREE!!! but, quickGPS (assisted-GPS, A-GPS) download cellular data over wifi/3g/activesync to speed speed speed up time to get fix. sometimes, i tried b4 less than 10secs...

GPS on PHONE is always NOT GOOD!!! laggy.. but i feel XPERIA quite ok with da lagness.. at least it wont take me to wrong road yet..

again, if u think XPERIA is SE ultimate phone, u r WRONG!!! this is not P1/P990!! this is PDA!! PDA with no user-friendly interface.. PDA with problematic system and bug all around.. test it out thoroughly b4 u buy...

bro, do u update ur HARD-SPL back to Stock SPL? and bak to stock rom? caz, flashing to 3rd party is really void of warranty... it apply same to my touch pro.. sis doesnt accept unless i flash back to stock rom n stock spl...

then only they accept it..

Added on April 5, 2009, 1:48 pmnew WM6.5 out!!! now with newer ROM based.. but anything else same as Beta2.

besides, i tried mustangROM, which is new rom also.. but doesnt feel so nice.. wait until it release a more stable version1 then only i upload to WEBFOLDER.

do u notice any different if u use Touch HD camera driver? i feel like R3AA camera driver is better than Touch HD 1..

but touch HD camera driver can adjust ISO settings, mayb not that blur anymore.. to launch Touch HD camera driver.. move touchflo3d tab to "photo" and then click da small camera icon button.. it shall run da driver..

U can check the iso right after u taken photo with xperia camera driver.. i always check my iso also fixed at iso100.. i feel ok with bright situation.. but when dark, touch hd camera driver really show out different.. anyway, since now got 2 different driver, n now xperiencer should know which driver to use in which situation..

besides, touch hd camera driver can adjust iso settings afta u click da settings page out..

aiks, juz wanted to try my xperia for picture quality.. but sxxt.. using wm6.5 no touch hd camera driver.. go xda-developers find n see can get any installable cab o not 1...

btw, as a research / poll... jacks v3.3, u all like to use FULL or MEDIUM rom? caz, later i got this v3.4, i will host 1 of it.. done survey 1, easier to work later..

firstly, i vote for FULL. reason is, i flashed v3.3 medium.. it is too empty n seem like nothing inside.. summore, is slower than i expected.. i remember jacks rom v2.x is very very fast 1.. then v3.3 is like slower n summore v2.x i flashed is full... so, now i vote FULL and i doesnt nid to install CE-STAR by myself.. easier too.. besides, i would like to use FULL rom features, like AE Button plus, then Htorch (mayb burst ur LED).. but still like it..

glad to hear that, u have a good experience with WM phone.. it would be a bit not so user-friendly.. but will use to it in short time rite?

as comparison, HTC Touch HD got G-sensor, 5MP camera, bigger screen, thinner, quite stable stock rom.

XPERIA got hardware keyboard, same hi-def screen, nicer n more yeah design, longer battery, XPERIA XPANEL.

hmm, really.. wat a hard decision.. but i could make it more simple for myself.. caz, my bro get TOUCH HD dy.. i got no choice andd choose XPERIA without really thinking much..keke..

BTW, itje V5 quite stable wat.. it is ok to try it 1.. give it a try.. at least better than stock rom i think...

besides, i oso wonder ur stock rom is R2AA or R1AA 1 a?

as comparison jack n itje v5..

as i know, they both oso dont hav video call function.. no idea why
tried, jack medium v3.3.. still prefer v5.04. jack v3.3 too little features. v3.1 full mayb a lot better
itje not super stable actually.. but daily usage wont give frustating problem.. mayb juz sometime slow down a while or memory leak problem..
love Jack's FULL features.. that y waiting for jacks v3.1 full.

R1AA is really too old.. hav a nice time when upgrading bah..

NetCF is .Net Compact 3.5 . which is .net framework in windows.. they claimed to be faster running on PDA when compare to v2.0.. but most of 3rd party rom included it.. i uploaded ther caz, i couldnt easily found .cab file for it.. always come in .msi file.

sdkcerts is somehow needed only u nid to mod ur system.. i get it somewher where forumer mod their xperia for benchmark n so called "turbo-charged" XPERIA. but, doesnt hav much improvement aftawards.. caz all 3rd party rom hav it now..

background a.. last time i install a cab from xda member.. it works.. it change all da background of touchflo 3d..there are some regedit that can change wallpaper to every single tab 1.. but forget wher is it dy..

besides, if u juz wan to change da homescreen only.. go to settings tab.. and click change wallpaper..

AP set ar...i feel like no differnece... n if ur sex1 spoil with AP distributor,, u die la..lolz

but,really lar, exactly the same thing except for da keyboard. A@p set is germany set which keyboard layout is different. Y n Z swap da place dy. n some symbol is different.

im downloaded it. n now uploading to server. u all will see it soon. now at college.. surely will flash to jacks v3.1 full when i reach home..... hope to see a good rom from jacks.

besides, after used to the xperia keyboard typing. now i can feel typing feedback. n hence i may detect my typing error.. quite new a.. like my sex1 more now...

still thinking of getting martin field.. now only using cheapo screen protector.. n using pouch all da times..

hopefully da pouch able to withstand any danger..

BTW, how many times u all drop ur XPERIA a?? no matter how careful i am.. i drops it b4.. cry.gif cry.gif

i drop it without any pouch, 2 times... drop it with pouch 4 times dy i think.. but with pouch without anything happend..

without pouch gets a deep scratch on battery cover now...hmm.. sad sad..

BTW, worth of getting RM67.70 martin field? i get scratch at screen protector now due to my newly-cut fingetnail which is sharp enuf...

yeah, quite a good rom able to found dy now...

Jacks v3.1 full... hmm.. hardly compare both.. i like jacks rom more i think.. becaz of AE button plus n Resco stuff n spb stuff installed.. tat wat i nid it to bundled with my phone..

besides, screen rotation i feel faster on jacks rom.. but dont expect to be super fast anyway..
