I got my iphone 16gb 3g from maxis as well about 3 days back. On the 1st day i got it, it was all fine and smooth.

The 2nd day it started to crash and hang especially when there's a incoming call during the standby mode. It rings and vibrates but i just can't pick it up. After the phone call ends, i have to restart the phone then it will go back to normal. Happens like at least 2-3 times a day.

Sometimes when i make a phone call, right after i press the dial button the whole screen goes blank off into standby mode. Can't press the power button nor the home button. I have to wait for like few seconds before i could press them and make the call again.

Btw the phone is still a "virgin" no applications installed yet and a 1st time mac/iphone user. And i thought apple rarely hangs/crashes. Anyone happen to know whats going wrong with my iphone?
