it is advisable to get flash rather than buy more lenses for beginner... (like me oso)

any flash will do lah... if got enuff budget (~~RM1.1k) then go for the ultimate flash a.k.a cobra... the HVL-F58AM...

u'll notice ur pic will be very different when u bounce the flash vs flash direct with ur pop-up flash...

go molest molest someone else or at shop first... but remember self poisoning has no cure!

going for entry level/semi/pro ??
A200 has won best entry level award..
A300 & A350 is variation of A200.... minor minor upgrade

u should try it urself on the other brand entry level oso...
canon got 1000D
nikon got D60

i would recommend u go for A300.... A350 is just a mere 4MP higher...
u wont be needing it if u not going to print any image bigger than A3 size...

RM4k budget... wow... that would cover urself twin kit A300 + F58 flash edi...
save the other moneh for future lens upgrade when u already know what to shoot..
either go macro ka... wide angle ka... or tele lens later on...

the formula is simply like this...

A300 = A200 + liveview + pop-up lcd
A350 = A300 + 4megapixel...

A300 & A350 use the same sensor... but they sumbat sumbat more pixels in it.. so it become a bit noisy sikit..
coz they need to cater for higher megapixel counts... but not really that noticeable lah

yeap.. i oso agree..!! go get 1 sig..
buy buy all stuff before fly~~

i haf that lens... cheap tele lens + macro... if u wan to use it for like... forever... try get the APO version...
got some comments that siggy lenses are tend to haf gear stripping issue... but for me.. dun really care la..
coz just started to learn dslr... cheap lenses are good for practice... later on upgrade to better 1 lah... pssssssst... CZ!!

if u need that extra 4 megapixel... go ahead with A350...
i wont.... for me 10MP is big enuff.. so i stick with A300 and save RM400

btw... most people seen that angle of that flower many times edi... bosan edi..
just to give some tips la... many ppl will suggest go other weird angle a bit..
more lower.... maybe go a bit senget senget ka..

and... maybe group 3 flower into 1 frame...

and..... try creative style vivid setting.. it helps boost the saturation..

flash + tungsten lighting?? i usually use around custom wb at 6000-7000...

hmmmm...
if i'm using bounced flash under tungsten lighting...
i usually use WB around 6500K...
so that the skin-tone a bit more natural color (warmer a bit)...
