wat the best reference book for a science stream student?

but it depends on you actually. Which reference book suits you the most, then just use that.

alot of schools will ask their student to purchase this book

I used success Oxford Fajar last year. Just flick through the pages before you buy the reference books, make sure it suits you and you won't feel boring when you are going to STUDY IT LIKE MAD when SPM's around the corner hehe...

I used the following as my textbooks.

Malay, English, Moral, EST - none (except literature components in Malay and English - Eastview)
History - DBP textbook + my own notes
Maths and Additional Maths - Analisis Pelangi (don't know what it's called now)
Biology - Sukses (Success series) by Fajar Bakti (is it the same as Oxford Fajar?)
Physics and Chemistry - Fokus (Focus series) by Pelangi

Exercises are mostly from Longman, Pelangi, Sasbadi, Fajar Bakti and Cerdik (their own questions, not past year paper compilations).

I rely exercises more than textbook/reference books.

Oh and, official textbooks (except History) are put to collect dust.

biology use textbook to study can liao. physics and chem use success.

Oxford Fajar for all sciences Pelangi aint bad too!

use focus by pelangi and go for tuition ... sure score well if you concentrate

In fact the intervensi and trial exam for SPM came out directly from focus super by pelangi (for science subjects) last year. But the real SPM i dunno la...

maybe you can find it at most kedai popular . btw. i still dunno . last year form four, i have quite alot book on biology . but this year , i only got one , from my cousin sister, but sasbadi brand . i dunno its nice or not but i try to fall in love with the book ..

When I was in form 4 and form 5, all i had was a Pendidikan Islam NEXUS reference book. Other than that, none. Because 30 minutes in the class, when used at it's fullest worth 3 hours of studying alone.
