Great case, light and easy to transport.

Only complaint would be the drive cage design..

If you say TJ08-E out of your budget, you can try Fractal Design Core 1000 RM170 from CyntrixTech

of course you can. P8Z77-M is mATX board, just look for chassis that can support mATX..

any suggestion for the casing. i want a casing that have an enough space for better cable management
*
as suggested Thermaltake Armor A30.

if budget allows, Silverstone TJ08-E.

Lian-Li also have mATX chassis, just that I'm not really familiar with their product and price.. no idea how to suggest. tongue.gif

how is ur cable management? i find it quite hard to manage all my cable since im using a non modular PSU
*
previously I install the DVD-ROM at the lower 5.25" bay, the extra cables put on top of the DVD-ROM.

now using modular PSU, much more easier.

ok well then im gonna sell my psu and get the full modular instead. can u post ur pic of ur rig? i love to see it
*
not exactly brilliant, and that PSU is older one tongue.gif

btw, semi-modular also can since the 24pin and CPU 8pin are required anyway..

PSU don't matter with cable manage in TJ08E. You can hide everything properly. It's a matter of how you hide the cables.

This barebone we built has no PSU installed. You can install ANY PSU, modular or not, and you will still get the same clean look

indeed, the two 5.25" bays at the top and large space behind the motherboard tray is just brilliant for hiding those useless cables.

but still I'd prefer to work with semi-modular PSU, cause it makes everywhere less messy.

btw Cyntrix, do you think TJ08-E's USB3 plug is very hard to bend. Since I'm using the P8Z77-M, the USB3 port is right beside the DIMM slot.

as you can see in the pic, I have to route the USB3 cable through the front of the HDD. I tried to find any L-shaped USB3 adapter, quite hard to find.

Bending like that doesn't help much as the HDD cage would get in the way.

well, part of the reason is that I need that HDD cage for my HDDs, unless I got myself a multiple bay HDD enclosure.

Can't describe how to do it but we can hide your USB 3 cable in less than 1 minute. With the HDD cage intact.

I must say, I'm amazed and curious at the same time. tongue.gif

Guys, if I copied the CRATE COMPUTER DESIGN AIO sff design, can I be fined for that? because I have access to power tools, and stuff like that, so that mean easily use their design. Just worried about the legal stuffs.
And the pricing for the xigmatek aquila hasnt been released right?

for personal usage not a problem.
if commercial purpose not sure.

copy for personal usage will have no issue.

but for commercial purpose, if they find out, they'll pursue.

Hi,
I am currently looking for a matx case, torn between TJ08E and also SG09. Any advice? which one has better cooling performance?

i decided to use back all my hardwares but i have read that SG09 work better with modular psu but i am using non modular one.
*
Which one has better cooling performance?

SG09. Yeah, due to the design limitation, it is better to use a modular PSU.
