What other H55 mATX boards did you see E-J@1?

Did you check out the Asus boards by the way? smile.gif The P7H55-M Pro looks nice too.
*
ASUS P7H55-M PRO
MSI H55M-E33

QUOTE(evilnickwong @ Jan 22 2010, 12:06 PM)
Yeah I noticed that too, there is the P7H55D-M version which has full solid caps, but it's quite abit more expensive. Don't think it's worth the added cost just for the cooler solid caps haha.

I think Asus has 6 phases compared to GB's 7 as well, but somehow, I still like the Asus one. tongue.gif I'll see, planning to build a SFF this weekend in a SG03.

mine v351

miss the SG03 wub.gif

Not according to this. I've dealt with real tiny m-ATX cases before, such as the AOpen H420. But even in a sufficiently inebriated state, I wouldn't call that mother an SFF. What I think of when people mention SFF is basically this.

It's not about how much your 3DMark Vantage can score, but how much electricity you can save without sacrificing power.

However, "small form factor" lacks a normative  definition and is consequently misappropriated as a buzzword  due to its growing popularity. Manufacturers often provide self-serving definitions.

in the end, its up to the user to define it as SFF or not

regardless the size, the type of casing (shoebox, cubical, mini tower)

for me, anything that uses micro-ATX board and smaller is SFF

i dont care how much electricity i can save, gonna overclock it anyway icon_rolleyes.gif

Good news to ITX & SFF user, Thermalright will launch a low profile cooler soon

AXP-140 RT
*
that's great news

only 70.2mm in height, should easily accommodate these days casing

but still, their lowest low profile cooler is XP-120, just 63mm in height!

Jonsbo U3 is not a bad looking case, it's simple and stylish. However due to the tight space inside, you can only use very low CPU heatsinks. So if you have an overclockable Core i processor, you can only upclock it a little before CPU gets too hot. There's a much older Chyangfun case that fares a lot better.
*
bro, U2 and U3 maximum heatsink clearance is 170mm

so both are able to fit high tower heatsink
