the asus H55 mATX design nice...
but 1 thing it missing is the solid caps. it use electrolic caps... not that it will effect the performance... it just dosent look so nice compare to gigabyte the msi one has less power phase compare to other... QUOTE(E-J@1 @ Jan 22 2010, 08:15 AM) ya... especially the gigabyte p55m~s onesThis post has been edited by tjay_tj: Jan 22 2010, 11:54 AM |

Yeah I noticed that too, there is the P7H55D-M version which has full solid caps, but it's quite abit more expensive. Don't think it's worth the added cost just for the cooler solid caps haha.
I think Asus has 6 phases compared to GB's 7 as well, but somehow, I still like the Asus one. |

The H55M-USB3 you just bought, that supports xfire as well, albeit in x16 and x4 mode, doesn't it?

@tjay_tj: the site u post jz nw does provide some good info on single n sli/crosfire on both p55 n x58..seen the benchmark..some games the sli/cf @ x58 killed p55 a lot bt some games they are omoz the same O_O
Added on January 23, 2010, 11:20 am@subrok: i tink the lianli v351 n some of the Silverstone SuGo series can handle sli wid no problem as well..maybe will haf a lil heat issue though This post has been edited by viruz019: Jan 23 2010, 11:20 AM |
