QUOTE(Doom @ Oct 16 2009, 12:04 PM) The xqbox as per the one suggested above in the thread is no longer available.. there is a new replacement by the same seller but they've only gold and green colour. Was looking for the same case too but ended up with an AOpen G326.. RM269 from someone in in the tradezone (comes with PSU as well). Doesn't really look good though.. |

nice temp.
the geminii s is really a good cooler. last time my amd 6000 x2 is only 35C idle and 42 load. but than that is the core temperature. the processor temp had to look at the motherboard temp which register as 50+ i guess amd got some faulty sensor. |

Well it's shuttle PSU .. it can comes in different wattage, not sure how many watts PSU the owner use for the setup ...
I've bad experience in using shuttle last time .. .motherboard seems can't handle discrete graphic card result fried mobo .. |

5870 actually draw less power and lower temp compare to the 4890.
the cooler on the card is actually very good. |

isit? sorry than.
the review in bit-tech is very promising. but i think with the new core revision, it should be better than the 4890 anyway. |

QUOTE(slyyoung @ Oct 16 2009, 12:54 PM) proc: phenom 720 - RM420 hi there.mobo: asus m4a785d-m pro - RM345 RAM: 2 x 2GB Corsair PC800 D2 Value RM260 casing: - Aopen G326/xqbox - RM300 GC: SAPPHIRE HD4850 512MB D3 256BIT - RM365 HDD: Seagate 500GB - RM180 PSU: Silverstone Strider 500W - RM289 Monitor: Ben-Q 21.5" G2220HD - RM499 Total: RM2658 So, more or less should be like that la. Prices are all quoted from c-zone, except for the casing. seems like u r looking for a g326...perhaps u could PM a forummer, rockrock. I got my g326 frm him. with ur estimated price, you could get 2 units of g326... anyway, any PSUs fit in the g326 case. I have to say that for tight budget, your option of the g326 is good...but if your budget's higher, the Sugos sure look nice...NOT to say the g326 is not nice...I actually enjoyed building it...it's just the "ever-lasting" image that I "see" when I'm outside....take today...I saw a trailer...and straightaway, I saw the resemblance..."hey..my g326 looks like that trailer aka optimus prime" but seriously, the g326 is quite a nice case...with modular parts removable, quite well ventilated, love the PSU location/isolation, the hdd case even has the anti-vibration rubber! only thing is that it's SECC steel, not aluminium... btw, as for the proc cooler, I recommend a "tower" type...and the PSU to have a bottom fan...the bigger the better... sorry, just my 2cent on this g326 "ahbeng" case... as much as i like the modular design and ability to fit tower cooler inside.. i'll never get it.. due to the front bezel.. lol |
