I don't know. =_= Seriously. I don't think I'll go around interviewing my prospective partner about their income. That's just... rude.

Normally people would start off at RM2500-RM3000 right? Working parents have higher accumulated money but also higher debt and etc. dry.gif

My yardstick for a good household income is about RM 6000 per month (target change with inflation)

I would like to buy new home in Klang Valley, but it is hard.....houses in Bandar Utama and USJ, are very expensive for young people

I think that should be decent. We can't keep running around just to make ends meet. tongue.gif

As long as we make the point to save, to splurge a little and the need for current finance. Of course, easier said than done. But it takes two to tango, as long as there's communication and toleration it should be fine. smile.gif

I tend to dont expect much from almost anything now as the higher your expectations, the more disappointment you have when it fails. Then, you are emo.

Yeap, takes 2 to make it work. It's team work after all.

It is hard to expect one person to be sole breadwinner thesedays, due to inflation and also, if the girl is educated, then there is one more reason for her to work...

But if you don't aim for the moon, you may not reach the stars, correct? O_o

Well, that's only applicably to stagnant objects by the way. When it comes to people it's hard. I like to think we should do our best and expect the best. If it didn't turn out good, sigh once and muster up the courage to move again. It's hard, I know, I'm dealing with depression too. But hey, if not you, then who? *pats* smile.gif

You don't understand dear. When we talk about money alone that is true but what about the kids? What about the relationship between you and her? These things need the time and space too. So even when them both working, they need to put aside some time for each other. So I say to each relationship, their own.

Then again, I do think girls should work. For psychological purpose though.

I wanna do a master too, simply because I rather not stuck with just a degree. It's not sufficient these days.
