Hi everyone,

Games Monster with official support of Play-Beyond.NET (Malaysia) is planning to have an event called 'The Biggest LAN Party Gathering of PS3 Gamers' in an attempt on Malaysia Book of Records for the largest number of participant who bring their own PS3 and play any games in LAN party.

However, to proceed further; we want to do some survey first on how many people is interested to participate in this event.

After we have the figures, then only we will send our proposal to Malaysia Book of Records for evaluation, and if they agreed, then only we proceed.

But, PLEASE BE CLEAR THAT THIS EVENT IS NOT CONFIRMED YET.

All depends on:

• Adequate number of participants
• Malaysia Book of Records agreed to evaluate this attempt
• The availability of sponsorship for LCD monitor for the event

If any of the above is not fulfilled, then we will not proceed.

So, the purpose for this thread is to get the number of interested participant for this event. We're hoping for 300 people to join if possible.

Possible date, time and location as following:

• DATE: T.B.A
• TIME: T.B.A
• LOCATION: T.B.A
• ACTIVITIES: Play PS3 games; probably can have LAN tournament (e.g KILLZONE 2 Multiplayer, COD4 Multiplayer, FIFA09, etc)

For those who would like to participate, please post your name asap, so we can get the figures and send our proposal to Malaysia Book of Records by this week.

But, if I'm not mistaken TMNet is sponsoring the line connection for Cyber Fusion event in the same hall. So, high possibility we will get the same privilege.

No, just your PS3. Coz bro azza is currently looking for LCD sponsor. If we can get it, the event is ON.

Of course cannot'lah.. loan for the event only, they will take it back.

That's the purpose of this thread. To get the figures. If can get around 150-200, will proposed to them to provide the same number of LCDs.

And, for those who didn't know, we will be having our event on the same day as Cyber Fusion event at the same location. But, this is for PC only.

So far, if we talking about Malaysian record, there's none. Not sure about world record.

Yeah, it will be the first one, already confirmed with Malaysia Book of Records.

But, there's one record for the longest duration for LAN gaming by Sony Malaysia. If you guyz remember, last time during official PS3 launch in One Utama.
