Will Iphone 3g 8gb/16gb drop it price after Maxis launched it??
Thinking of buying one

nop. dont think so. maxis doesnt sell iphone seperately . need to be tied to a contract to get the phone . so some people might still get official unlocked sets from singapore , hk, nz etc.. maybe it might drop if a next gen iphone comes out . XD

maxis is known in the industry to keep prices stable. I dont think they will lower the price.
But as all electronic gadgets will lose it's value when new products are launched, they will eventually lose value, not not so soon.

i mean tat coz Maxis officially launched ma... Other places wont launch again??(for Malaysia sets)

nop. digi doesnt have 3g, and i think celcolm wont launch it. maxis wanna be exclusive about it. lol

Apple only makes an iPhone contract agreement to ONE carrier for each country. That means Maxis has it, and other carriers like DiGi, Celcom etc will not be able to obtain the deal no matter how hard they persuade Apple.

might be off topic, but since the topic name is iphone 3g question, lol :

if i jailbreak my iphone, n then i restore my iphone to factory setting, IF need to send to warranty,

will maxis able to know whether my iphone has been jailbroken before? i heard that they wun be able to check, jst wanna double confirm, thanks in advance

Erase and reset all Settings and restore back to default before sendng back for warranty.
