QUOTE(besaid @ Mar 7 2010, 02:28 AM) Hi, I will assist in answering the racial diversity question. In MMU, we have a healthy balance of students from all races which include students from other countries too. So, if you are interested to learn more about people from various part of the world, I am sure MMU will be a good place to study in. May i know which campus you are currently in? Melaka or Cyberjaya?Do you mind to give more info on both of the campus there? I plan to go for the Melaka campus for accountancy but still having some doubt. Thanks in advance ^^ |

Melaka is a much more vibrant place than cyber. There is a better variety of food there at a cheaper price too and tastier too. Cyber is rather peaceful/quiet/isolated due to its location. It is also the location too that causes common items such as maggi, soap, drinks and even food sold there slightly more expensive than hypermarkets and melaka. I believe that you yourself will be the best thing there is to control your study environment. But,if you are the type that needs the environment to control your habit, I strictly recommend you to stay in MMU Cyber's hostel. I myself was a lazy bump back in my tarc days and flopped badly. After enrolling into cyber, the environment did help me to change into a better person. But still.. it boils down to yourself. I am from the Cyberjaya campus. Regarding the environment, refer to my reply to loyallovehuatyen. For accountancy, both campuses follow a similar course structure and syllabus, right down to the same exam paper. I got no info regarding the lecturers there but the my friends in Melaka are quite proud of their lecturers while we in Cyber are proud of ours too. (there will be some lousy lecturers here and there, nothing's perfect) For a little secret regarding Cyberjaya, please click. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Thanks for the info man and the additional secret By the way, do you think you can post up some pictures of the hostel?.. Just wanna look at the condition of the room. |

QUOTE(besaid @ Mar 14 2010, 09:25 PM) I will try to take the pics as I am not living in hostel for this academic year. My advise is to come and see yourself during the open day. There will be tours that day to show you around the campus. Myself would like to be there to have a look for myself but time just not allowing me to. Anyway thanks for your help ^^ |

QUOTE(toby.c13 @ Mar 28 2010, 01:17 PM) honestly telling u about the law program in mmu. Got my offer letter two days ago for accountancy course in melaka. Does the things you mentioned applies to its not really 'stabil' as it seems. the so-called law-school is just two containers stacking on top of each others. the law library's comps is fulled with viruses and always rosak. the law lecturers - no comment. some are very good, some can be a pain in the arse. and most importantly, mmu is sucking ur money as if it is twilight. the course for law is a 5 years program which is inclusive of the foundation. foundation in law (1yr) bachelor of law (4yrs) seriously, dont come mmu if u can opt for another better law school. edited: additional points law lib's books insufficient. mmu car park insufficient. if ur expecting law school to be something like this... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « then sorry la.. reality is that.. its just containers stacking on each other. accountancy course as well? |

QUOTE(Flamex1992 @ Apr 16 2010, 01:23 AM) Lepasan SPM is not under any category of those.SPM is just a secondory studies. If you mean what you can pursue after SPM are diploma, foundation programme etc. As for pre uni is for the uni that offers foundation programme. Correct me if i am wrong. |

QUOTE(EvanSoon @ Apr 16 2010, 01:54 PM) Your thank god sounded like MMU is somewhat very bad.Making me doubt my choice >.< QUOTE(Sadru @ Apr 17 2010, 12:36 AM) last week I paid for the registration and processing fees which cost RM1773. What you did was applied and doesnt mean you actually have yourself a place in the hostel. If im not mistaken i already completed and submit those hostel application that i got inside the envelope alongside with the registration fees to the registration office ( i sent it myself at MMU cyber ) does that mean that i will be living in hostel inside MMU area? does that also mean that i got living place at mmu cyber hostel? However, from the information i received, cyberjaya has sufficient units to accomodate the students since its very big. So i think you can actually say that you got yourself a place. Unless my information is wrong. |
