yeap. Can say so. I will ask the adminision and the management and see what are their plans and try to post it up here.
Well, for management and other courses, the guys can choose the gurls cox too many gurls. But for engineering, the gurls can choose the guys cox too many guys. haha, basically can say there are the majority. Same goes to some other uni like UTAR. Guys seems to be more than gurls. Why? have to do with ur accademic? No guys cannot study? Haha, joking ya!. biggrin.gif

I stayed in Taman Bunga Raya for almost 6 years. Everything was fine and convenient. I had a friend staying at TK also lived there happily.

But then again, there's not much difference between both TBR and TK.

When I stayed at TBR, there were only a few restaurants. I guess there should be more by now. So food shouldn't be a problem. If you feel like having a meal at Ixora, you can walk through the campus as well. Should be safe.

Just bring company when you go out. Move in groups to avoid being targetted. Can't say for sure which Taman is safer. Just take care of yourself can already lor.

after all, is best to bring along company when want to move around. that will be the best.. haha

hi all, i am currently studying IT in mmu. however i am changing my major to bachelor of business administration(BBA).

i want to know how the BBA of mmu compares to BBA program that government universities offer? which one is better? i am considering UM right now.

ps: im international student. what are the chances of me getting in a government university?
*
Well, you can check UM website here. This link is for international students.

The fees will be here

Frankly there will be a quota that will limit the students for this.

BBA as far as I know are quite solid as for MMU. For example, my own brother graduated in International Business. Fresh graduate and now working in Standard Charter for forex exchange. Basic Rm2300, basic allowance RM500, and additional allowence up to RM200-RM450... Total is around RM3K. Not bad for fresh graduate.

As I know, government institution have their own standards... I hope you dont mind, but its a bit political and something which is not so nice. But the fact still remains that government institution have their own benefits. I do not wish and want to compare our self from private with the government ones... haha...

Well, I do not mean the government institution are worst. But they have their own standards and I do not know how to compare. If you can enter UM for the course that u want, its really good. However, the standards are a bit different.

I really do not know how to compare private institution with government ones. They do have one main motive which is to educate students. As for environment, UM will be different than MMU of course. The international students in MMU melaka are the highest in the state. Therefore, we can find international students easily. However, the fees are much more higher than the government ones. Frankly, if compare UM and MMU for business, I think both have their own strong points.

How many students are there in UM as for international, I am not sure. But as for job opportunity, u should ask yourself, what u want to be and where in 5 years down the road...

^^

Cheers

Thats what i am confused too.....i just applied for ptptn during hari ptptn in melaka. When will the cash come in and how?
*
Well, hope that I can help you guys here. Who ever apply ptptn recently, all you got to do is pay at least 30% of your tuition fee + special fees. Then you can unbar yourself. This 30% can entitle you to print the exam slip, view attendance, and course registration for next semester. I have already went to the CMU and clarfy this matter. However, I think we will get lower percentage and this will be done with case to case basis. So if, u wish to appeal, (we try to ask CMU can get lower rate like 20%) then all you got to do is give us the first page of your PTPTN offer letter.

Print the offer letter (only the page that got write your name and the money to be loan out with date and etc). Behind the document, write your IC, ID and telephone number. And submit the paper to SRC room (above main hall). (APPLIES ONLY IN MMU MELAKA)

The management will stil bar the students unless the students notify the management. Therefore, the offer letter is important as a proof to this. However, this will only apply PTPTN, I strongly recomend you to pay at least 30% of the fees before end of september (hope PTPTN can bank in on time). If not, you may not be able to sit for final exam. Therefore, please notify SRC if there is any problem regarding this issue.

In addition, I wish to clarify. There are roomers about H1N1 and got people even die in MMU Melaka. Lecturer die, library people die. Why so many people die? Haha. But this case is still under control and the terms to close down only applies if:

a) 5% of the population is infected
b) Order from chief minister or health ministry or etc

And the RM100 fine if the students pay the fees late also will not be imposed as well. So, dont wory. At the mean time, we will do what we can and nessesary.

p/s: PTPTN loan, usually will get around two weeks after submiting the form.

Thank you.

And Happy Merdeka!
