Thats what i am confused too.....i just applied for ptptn during hari ptptn in melaka. When will the cash come in and how?
Well, hope that I can help you guys here. Who ever apply ptptn recently, all you got to do is pay at least 30% of your tuition fee + special fees. Then you can unbar yourself. This 30% can entitle you to print the exam slip, view attendance, and course registration for next semester. I have already went to the CMU and clarfy this matter. However, I think we will get lower percentage and this will be done with case to case basis. So if, u wish to appeal, (we try to ask CMU can get lower rate like 20%) then all you got to do is give us the first page of your PTPTN offer letter.
Print the offer letter (only the page that got write your name and the money to be loan out with date and etc). Behind the document, write your IC, ID and telephone number. And submit the paper to SRC room (above main hall). (APPLIES ONLY IN MMU MELAKA)
The management will stil bar the students unless the students notify the management. Therefore, the offer letter is important as a proof to this. However, this will only apply PTPTN, I strongly recomend you to pay at least 30% of the fees before end of september (hope PTPTN can bank in on time). If not, you may not be able to sit for final exam. Therefore, please notify SRC if there is any problem regarding this issue.
In addition, I wish to clarify. There are roomers about H1N1 and got people even die in MMU Melaka. Lecturer die, library people die. Why so many people die? Haha. But this case is still under control and the terms to close down only applies if:
a) 5% of the population is infected
b) Order from chief minister or health ministry or etc
And the RM100 fine if the students pay the fees late also will not be imposed as well. So, dont wory. At the mean time, we will do what we can and nessesary.
p/s: PTPTN loan, usually will get around two weeks after submiting the form.
Thank you.
And Happy Merdeka!
