PTPTn u can take once u enter MMU. And scholarship is like someone sponsor u to study... But u must have good results..

If you study art stream in form 6 then you should be able to join non-scientific based courses like business, creative multimedia, law and etc.

Added on March 27, 2010, 5:44 pmptptn give d money per semester. If u get full loan, should be ok. depending on wad course u take. Full loan usually is RM16,000 X (number of years). If you take creative multimedia which is 3 yers, then will be RM16,000 X 3 = RM48,000. And the total fees might be around there..

guys, i already received my offer letter.
now i need to know how much each month expense would be including the food+house rental * supposed to be in hostel on the 1st year right?

ptptn loan.. i think i might drop by the nearest office in the near time, need to know how much would they gave me each sem.

budget is a big issue now. kindly point me out things that normally new student miss during their pre-enter the MMU.

you might want to come over to melaka earlier to scout for houses with good locations and environment.

ptptn can be done online now if im not mistaken.

regarding to ur monthly expenses, it depends how much u spend and how much is ur rental and stuffs.
cant really decide for u right now.

there are cheap houses at taman kerjasama for around rm150 per month but the condition is abit run down.
or there are kick a$$ 'high-class' apartments such as university green which can cost u rm300 per month just for rental.

If you don't know what you like I suggest you take an easier course (among your list of choices) while you find out. I am in my third year of an engineering degree but still clueless about my true passion.

I don't think you need to stay in the hostel for the 1st year, unless there are new policies which I am aware of.
Which campus? Melaka and Cyberjaya have quite different monthly expenses.
As for ptptn, they give you the money in the 1st and 3rd trimester every year. Any extra from paying the tuititon fees will be put in your CIMB acc.

To all new students and old students. There is a new policy now. For current students. (PTPTN only), please go to SOSC and fill up the CIMB debit from. From now on, the money will bank in to student. And after that, the money will auto transfer to MMU based on your balance. For example, if you have balance of RM5K, PTPTN will bank in RM8K. Then auto transfer RM5K. And your balance will be RM3K.

However, this transaction will take place in a few seconds after the money is transferred to your account. So, dun think of withdraw after the money is in. And so, you dont need to do CIMB Clicks. And now MMU is trying to have an agreement which is to charge students only in 1st and 3rd semester. Means, dont need to pay for 2nd semester. But this is just a proposed stage only.

I think you should scout for other university as well. MMU fees is really not cheap. But of course, its still cheap compared to other university college kinda price. Why dun consider UTAR? and u sure of what u want?
Sometimes, ptptn masuk lambat. then u will need to pay some amount in order for u to sit for exam. And before u come to MMU, oso u need to pay around 1.8K. That is not provided by PTPTN.. ANd expenses be a bit high as well as you wanted to take Creative art. and thats in cyber... my suggestion, scout for more options and find out the info. Dun waste ur study time and parents money then.. Work hard and get a scholarship
