i just know that we are not supposed to wash our hands with antibacterial soap before and after handling contact lens. is that true? i've been using antibacterial soap all these while. what soap do i need to use then?

i just need a basic eye health check after wearing contact lenses for 8 years already. i haven't had any checkup before this. also, to check my real eye power. i suspect the optician prescribed the wrong power to me.
