Hello,
I m using Freshkon 58, I have been using it for only a year. I m still studying, so most of the time I will wear my lens for more than 8hours. When I felt my eyes were dry, I will drop some moisturizer. But now, when I wear my lens, I can see the blood vessel in my eyes clearly. Is it normal?

And sometimes, I can even feel the lens are hurting my eyes. Is it recommend for me to continue wearing lens?

hi, its best not to wear normal contact lens for more than 8 hours.

if ur eyes feel dry then u can use artificial tears eyedrop, but dont use eyemo if possible.

overwear or chronic contact lens user eyes usually have prominent blood vessels, its very common. its always good to let ur eyes rest once in a while by having a few days off contact lens. with short break, yes u can continue to use lenses for a long time, take good care of the lens too.

Hi, jialat. :} Just a few questions to ask.

1. I m using FreshKon 58 monthly disposable lens. I wear it everyday and from the moment I wear it, I feel my eyes were dry and tired. (Maybe the tiredness is because I didnt get enough sleep. xD) Any way to overcome this problem?

2. I heard that AirOptix has 5x more oxygen than the other, is it true? Do you recommend me to change to AirOptix? If so, what type of lens will suit me?

3. Although I know that 8hours is the max of wearing contact lens a day, but I normally will wear it until 10-12hours. I will also drop some eyes drops to prevent the lens getting too dry. Can I continue to wear lens like this? Or I should change to extended lens?

nope, its different. u need to use stronger solution like hydrogen peroxide (ie. oxysept or aosept). use daily cleaner everyday. then protein removal once a week.

Thn any recommend brands for the solution? Wht is daily cleaner? And whr can I get it?

erm, which toric lens is more comfortable to wear? Acuvue Oasys, Air Optix or Biomedics? Or any other brand u recommend.. Hope to get a cheap price as I m still a student >.< I used to use AirOptix (forget its Air Optix or O2 Optix) normal monthly lens, but still feel a lil dryness after wearing, so I stopped for few months. Now my optician said that I have astigmatism, n have to wear toric lens. I m jz scare of having dryness after or during wearing the lens, wish to get some comfortable one. Btw, if I order now, can I get it by Friday?

N i heard that we can only wear contact lens for a certain period of time, eg: 8-10years, after tht period our eyes are not suitable for contact lens anymore, is it true?

Another thg is, i saw some post in the internet saying that our eyes will grow a new blood vessel for transporting oxygen purpose due to the lack of oxygen for wearing lens too long, true?

hi, acuvue oasys toric is the most comfortable to wear now. there is a promotion for it, buy 3 boxes free 1 box, till promotion ends.

yes, if u order by today and bank in deposit, then u will get on friday. thanks

there is no such thing as wearing lens for 8-10 years, then ur eyes cant use contact lens anymore, its not true.

yes, lacking of oxygen to ur cornea by wearing bad lenses, u will get vessels growing into cornea. Oasys provides lot of oxygen, so dont worry about it.

Somehow, I saw oasys is quite expensive, as it is only bi-weekly disposable, how'a about air optix? I heard it has 5 times more oxygen thn normal lens, n biomedics?
