Hi, u can try Bausch & Lomb biotrue because it keeps the moist in contact lens for 20 hours, longest possible among all the solution that i have tried before. Its not stingy too, very close to our eyes natural pH.

Just make sure u dont use solo care aqua because my friends in singapore said they have problem and have stopped selling it.

Yes, oasys toric is very expensive in long run. And recently more and more complaints of dry corneal problem beneath the lens due to its edge design that some optometrists think it reduced the tears exchange. i just used contact lens for first time yesterday.

acuvue clear + i-care multi purpose solution.

after 12 hours using i still feel uneasiness, i still notice like there is something sharp in my eyes especially if i move my eyes around too much. is there any lens that is softer that i can try? or is it just my eyelids that is too sensitive?

by the way i still dont how see if the lens is inside-out when im wearing it. they both look the same. the round edges both way look round enough for me.

Acuvue clear is the worst lens in market now, there will be alot of protein deposit after 1-2 weeks long hours usage. Short hours wear is ok, but still many other lenses are much better in quality than acuvue clear.

you can check with those who do research on contact lens or read contact lens spectrum article on the different type of lens. Acuvue clear was developed since long time ago, if its so good, then johnson & johnson will not manufacture new lenses. Old material and old technology, thats why its so cheap.

Latest lens from J&J are 2 weekly lens, they recently launched acuvue moist toric daily lens but it seems like a failure too according to my optometrist friends in private sector. Ciba and B&L daily toric lens are still much better quality than acuvue moist toric.

I strongly recommend air optix for monthly lens, it allows 5 times more oxygen to pass thru the lens than acuvue clear and have much lesser protein deposit on lens. Air optix is rm 45 a box also, but 3 pieces only in a box.

Its by ciba vision, the air optix advertisement is on radio frequently. ppl usually buy 2 or 4 boxes to keep stock also.

toric lens is for astigmatism correction, your astig has to be -0.75 and above.

Hi, I'm in college now and I think I should start wearing contacts... my glasses make me look like a geezer in the eyes of my friends... how much do they cost? Prefer the monthly ones.

I have short sightedness of around 3.00? with some astig and I'm not sure of the exact info yet (need to get my eye tested) but it should roughly cost how much? Planning on wearing it when I'm out and glasses at home.

BTW, are glasses still better than contacts when going for sports activities such as running and squash?

the preservative in the solution is expired, meaning that it can be contaminated, so if u use it, then prepare more money to see eye specialist if your eyes are infected.

most shops that do biotrue will have the travel kit for sale.
