i need some advice here.. I used to wear the normal ciba vision monthly lense.. for almost half a year. but then i felt discomfort when wearing it. might be it too dry or it's defect. i then changed to o2 optic. cos the optician told me o2 optic contains higher water content
but after wearing it for few days.. i feel discomfort stil.. it's like irritation.. even rubbing lightly on it won't help.
not sure if it's my eye problem or I am not suitable to wear this type of lense.
I tried wearing daily disposable 1. the irritation doesn't occur. But it's so pricey ler.. any advice?

daily disposable lense is also ciba vision - daily aqua comfort plus.
is this mean this brand may not be suitable for my eye? blush.gif

U can try asking them to change the lens to acuvue oasys for u if the box is still unopened. If already open, then no choice but can only hope the next pair works well for u. Thanks

but i realised this O2 optic is slightly harder than the previous lense that I wore.
Why is that so yea? hmm.gif
I read on some article saying that harder lense contain higher water content? just wondering..

too bad then, u should have bought a pair to try 1st.

silicone hydrogel lens is harder, except acuvue oasys, which is made of latest generation material, then its softer.

softer is more comfortable. thanks

i didn't knw that 1 pair is availabe for purchase ler
where can i get it ? any optical shops?
seriously.. is reli uncomfortable with this lenses. haih..
is lesser water content more suitable for dry eyes ppl like me?
i read abt it that high water content of lenses will tend to get dehydrated faster and thus, it's dryer for dry eye ppl.. cry.gif
