I've always used ACUVUE but am thinking of trying new brands, any recommendations?

I wear ACUVUE oasys. Have been seeing some ads for new contact lens brands and thought might be time for a change to give my eyes something new, I've been wearing ACUVUE for more than 10 years!

ACUVUE hasn't been giving me problems, but just wondering if there could be more affordable alternatives that are just as good.

Oh I see... so oasys is really the best out there? Not keen on daily because of the price. Have stuck with biweekly because of hygiene and comfort factors (compared to monthly) - looks like this was the right move? Haha

Just wondering, how often do you recommend an eye checkup for contact lens prescription? My current prescription dates back to 8 years ago! Wondering if it's time to do an update.

For sharing, I have been checking on my degree (made new spectacles etc) but there hasn't been much change. My degree slightly lowered, but nothing too drastic.

I have dry eyes and high astigmatism, can you recommend me which daily con should I try?

For monthly lense, is air optix hydraglyde better than softlens 38?

Simply pondering, I know it is anything but a sound practice. I will in general wear my contacts when I have an inclination that it, as in when I'm heading off to some place that is decent. In fact I wear my contacts just like one or two times every week. The rest I simply utilize my glasses. Also, I think that its a loss to toss it following one month opening it. So I will in general still use it considerably following a month considering I once in a while use it. I realize you would state that it isn't prudent, eating games however what can occur if state I keep utilizing it for in any event 3 months? Much obliged!

Hey jialat, can plano soft contact lens be made smaller than the corneal diameter just like rgp lens? Any possible issues since if it is not used for vision correction?

I have been using miacare and optix for the past 5years. Thinking to change to a different brand since there are so many new technology contact lens out there..i’m thinking to change it to bausch lomb ultra? Any thought on this brand?

Hi all , I am new to contact lens and I am thinking to purchase it as well. My SPH is -0.75 and CYL is -1.5 with my left eye. While my right eye has SPH of -0.75 and CYL of -1.25. I think I need a toric lens, maybe ?

I think I would wear it during sports or as usual too.

Could anyone recommend which brand of contact lens that would not break the bank as I am still a student.... Thanks !!!

Hi, i am trying to switch from glasses to contact lens recently.
i am using clariti 1 day toric, but after around 3 hours putting on the lens, my eyes turn red at the sides and my eyes feel strained/tired, but the sclera near the pupil still white though, just can see the red nerve appears at the back of the eyes.

my eyes tend to dry easily even without lens.

should i change my lens or i should try using lens drops like blink-n-clean?

I have dry eyes as well, does that mean I am not suitable for Acuvue Moist Daily with astigmatism? I thought Moist is supposed to provide water to your eyes instead of drawing more tears from your eyes
I am thinking either to buy daily Acuvue Oasys or Moist with astigmatism
