Just got this lappy from PC3 at Low Yat plaza...
The RM2199 package comes with:-
Bag, Headset, Locker, USB hub & mouse.
If you don't need the item mentioned above then got discount Rm50.
Among the freebies only the bag and usb hub comes in handy. Just done my back up disc. Overall i am quite satisfied with the lappy only thing is the usb port, you definitely need the usb hub smile.gif

which shop in particular did you get it from?

oh and btw, i'm a newbie at laptops too, and a friend told me that he doesnt really trust lowyat stores because you never know how haphazardly they handle the merchandise.

how true is that?

The freebie that I think you will get is notebook lock, usb hub, a mouse and maybe a cooler. This notebook is really cost effective. I'm not sure if it will be swept by people during the last day.  tongue.gif

@Cloud, thanks for supporting. smile.gif

My integrated webcam has wavy lines. Is it only my problem?

Tried different refresh rate, 50hz or 60hz, still wavy lines or flickering lines from below to top.

UPDATE: After changing the power line frequency to 50hz, wavy lines or flickering is NO MORE! smile.gif

Thanks!

hey i've recently installed a software called advanced systemcare which monitors your computer system, registry and fixes them.

one thing that bugs me is that the software displayed my available ram as only 3gigs (3096mb to be exact) instead of the 4gigs of ram which showed up on the system window at the control panel.

can someone tell me wth is going on? hmm.gif
