Its possible and its easy.
Just go to Acer's website and download the 4730ZG XP drivers.

Since this is a PC Fair model, It wont be released again after its out of stock, so grab it asap before its gone. brows.gif

Luckily got 1 year warranty.
Well, we'll see how my laptop will perform after this.

Good news : New Motherboard
Bad news  : I went 1 week without my lappy and I miss her..... sad.gif

But do not get discouraged to buy Acer laptops.
As long as got warranty then you are safe.
Only thing is that it is a bit troublesome ler.....

For Acer there is a 7 days 1to1 exchange period for faulty hardware.
Some resellers won't honour this though.

The processor for 4730ZG is Dual Core T4200 which is the SAME chip as C2D T6400. You won't notice the performance difference.
Pentium Dual Core and Core 2 Duo are just marketing terms.

The 4730ZG definitely comes with a 3yrs warranty, shop owners can't remove it. You can check the warranty period of any Acer products by going to its offcial website and checking its the serial number.
Btw the LED screens have richer colours than those non LED LCD screens, but it isn't that big of a difference(for Acer notebooks).

LED LCD = Aspire One, 4935, 4937, 4736, 4736Z, 5935G.
