If i were to upgrade my garmin 5.00.3 to 5.00.4 do i need to uninstall the garmin 1st or just overwrite with the new installation?

Is there a type of mp3 that's unplayable for tube?
It's like 30% of my songs are unplayable although they're mp3. When i try to play them there's either an error shown or it'll jump to the previous menu. |
