Try Best Taskman instead. I found it easier to install.

Did you accidentally lock it? There is a lock button on the handsfree to stop us from accidently pressing the buttons when on the move. Check that. Happened to me before too.

The home screen can set 4 shortcuts or 4 contacts. If you want calendar reminder etc, you must set Settings>Personal>Home Screen>Home Screen Theme to Shortcuts Bar.

Else get Handy Shell, just google or read the first page for more info.

Then must be a problem either with the handsfree or the phone. Do you have any other Nokia phone that you can test the handsfree with?

Added on March 30, 2009, 8:59 amIt's not the MP count that matters. I'm still using my old 4.0MP digicam and most times shoot at 3.2MP, shots come out alright. The problem here is that the Tube's camera should be taking much better pictures. It could be a sensor problem (then there is no remedy) or a software processing issue. We realise that the Tube is not a photo specific solution but at least when compared to the N73 and it's peers, we do expect better results.

When you run the MFM exe file, there is a wizard asking whether you want to generate the file or not, then in the next screen there will be options for you to choose wheteher you want to include full customisation, POI etc., choose from there.

If you have A-GPS and Network Assisted positioning methods enabled, you would be charged for data usage as both these methods utilise your network to help to determine your position faster. There is more information on this on the first page. If you disable both these methods and just use the inbuilt GPS for positioning, then its free. To disable positioning methods go to Apps>Location>Positioning>Positioning methods>Deselect Assisted GPS and Network Based options leaving only the Integrated GPS ticked or selected.

Have you loaded in a map yet? Garmin is just the GPS software, you still need a map file. Refer to the first page there is a tutorial on how to install and use Garmin XT.

Normal. The 5800 frame is made of metal and the rest is plastic. Therefore expect "creaks and groans" when you handle it but overall the 5800 is quite tough, some Russians put it through a torture test (Google to see what they did) and the 5800 performed quite well. Don't worry about it, for the cost of the Tube we can't really expect Nokia to give premium quality stuff which they reserve typically for the N-series.

Depends.....it's truly up to you. Some bought Invisible Shield from Zagg, others silicone case or some other case, and lots just leave it bare. There really is no perfect solution to keep it clean, all touch based phones need lots of cleaning because they have large LCD screens which we use to interact with the phone. Just keep a micro-fibre cloth handy to wipe the smudges. Can't do anything much about dust though.
